About Twerk Fitness
Twerking is an AMAZING WAY of improving your booties shape!! Based on estimates of exercise scientists, a dancer who “twerks out” burns as much calories as an hour of moderate jogging.
As an additional benefit of twerking, the fast movements also cause your heart to race, which improves your metabolism to torch even more calories.
When you factor in the popping and bouncing motions that this dance requires, twerking does quite a number on the deep muscles of the hips, legs, lower back, and of course the glutes. Continuous twerking workouts will firm up the muscles and give you tone and definition!
Come and pop, clap and shake your way to toned thighs booty and abs in this intense fun workout; twerking for an hour will burn somewhere between 300 and 480 calories in an hour, about the same as 60 minutes of power yoga or an hour of moderate jogging, all levels welcome and catered for!
What to Wear
Shorts and a vest or T-shirt, plus trainers for the warm up – Athena pole fitness clothing is also available to buy.

ADVANCED POLE AND AERIAL ARTS GRADINGS
Athena Fitness teach to a very high standard and level of pole and aerial arts have now launched our Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum level 8 gradings.
These gradings are designed for super advanced pole and aerial students who wish to test their skills to the maximum by performing an advanced routine that include specific moves which must be executed in an in-house showcase.
On achieving your grading you will be awarded with a Trophy.
