ABOUT HOOP FITNESS
Aerial Hoop (also known as Lyra) is a large steel hoop, suspended from the ceiling on which you can perform circus aerial acrobatics!
During your Athena Fitness course, you will discover the beautiful art of Aerial Hoops and will cover a variety of techniques to approach the hoop. This will include getting onto the apparatus, creating shapes and poses, moving within the hoop and using the space around it.
The class will begin with an Athena style warm up concentrating on your upper body strength and core muscles, once the class is completed you will finish with a cool down.
You do not need to have any dance, fitness or aerial experience to start our classes, beginners need to start somewhere!
