ABOUT LEAH BRADSHAW
STRETCH & AERIAL INSTRUCTOR
I started training at Athena Fitness in 2013 and started teaching in 2016. Athena is the only school I have been to and I wouldn’t change that for the world! I love every single instructor/student there and it’s practically the base of my life… ! I couldn’t ask to be around better people and I enjoy every minute of being there.
My sister was the one that introduced me to pole fitness and I was instantly hooked. I was then taught hoop and silks and the addiction grew deeper… I ended up starting full membership on my own and it was the best thing I did.
I totally admit that I wasnt the easiest of students to teach… because the art doesn’t come naturally to me. I have to work very hard to achieve my goals and keep myself motivated and refused not to give up. I make sure I put this personal attribute into my teaching and I feel this gives me a unique teaching style in that I’m extremely patient and break instructions down hugely.
I am extremely passionate about aerial fitness and have undertaken many masterclasses with pole stars. My absolute pole hero is Kirsty Sellars.
I am PDC certified and first aid trained. I have undertaken extensive in-house training and have also widened my knowledge by undertaking Spin City’s Stretch and Flexibility and Anatomy and Physiology courses and hold their certifications.
I have performed at many events such as various (in-house) gradings, the 2015 Super Rally (which was a Harley-Davidson sponsored event). Circesque 2016, 17 & 18.
I am currently teaching Stretch and Flexibility classes, Aerials and Pole Fitness.
My day time job is a Legal PA! Most of the lawyers I work for have no clue what I do outside of work… and when I’m not working or teaching, I’m usually doing some other form of fitness or out socialising with friends and family!
